Recently I was talking to one of my friends who is a member of my mentorship and he was interested in shamanism.



It is a very interesting subject related to (meybe even at the origin of) middle-age witchcraft.



I have read a lot on this subject but I have to recommend two wise men who wrote fascinating books on this subject: Eliade and Mercier.They are rare things for the English speaking world and that`s makes them even more interesting for you I guess.

The second author Mario Mercier is himself a shaman and also a poet and a cinematographer. He wrote many books on the subject but the most intersting for me was Chamanisme et chamans. I don`t know if it was translated in English but if you find it read it because is a rare gem!











Here is a fragment from 1972 movie Erotic Witchcraft ( La Goulve - original French title). It implies strange metaphors and blood in a sort of vampiric transformation of the inner self.
